Grandma Sarah s' Houses

Created by Laurel Wilkinson 15 years ago
The first of Grandmas' houses that I remember was at Norfolk Park. She lived a couple of floors up from me and my mum and I would visit daily. The only thing I remember was her bathroom which was covered in signatures and jokes written by various different people. The second house I remember her living in was the Farm (Littlewood)which was a massive house and she had this really cute little flat/bungalow in the grounds. It was there that Jacob (my step-brother) first met her and we cooked hot cross buns on the fire. The she moved (again) and worked for another person as a Cook and House Keeper, but she didn't live there for very long. Then she came and lived with me and mum and that was really fun to have your own live-in grandma! But that only lasted a couple of months. The she got her flat on Cliff Street, very near us and lived there until she passed away. I have lots of memories but if I told all of them to you we would be here forever. I will, however, tell you of one or two - the first is making cupcakes and other things (like the time we made chillie ice-cream for Hannah's party/Grandma's birthday) and the other is from very recently when she helped me completely re-do my room, and bought me some lovely furniture which I am very gratefull for. That's it for now but more later.... LAUREL xx
